Claims Examiner II
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • CIP designation, or working towards completion
  • 3 -5 years in the adjustment of personal injury, property damage and product liability claims
Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate circumstances surrounding incidents to determine liability and assess exposure
  • Maintain accurate and timely claim reserves.
  • Adjust personal injury, property damage and product liability claims.
  • Some travel is required
Account Manager
The qualified candidate will assume a  portfolio of commercial  insurance business with emphasis on small to mid sized clients. Build and maintain industry relationships and develop and execute a business plan based on growth and profitability.

Qualifications:
  • Strong technical skills and insurance market knowledge
  • Strong people skills and a team player
  • 1 to 2 years experience in managing commercial accounts

Commercial Lines Broker

The qualified candidate will provide support to Account Managers and Team Leader, build and maintain solid relationships with Insurance Company partners and deliver superior customer service.  This role is flexible and ideally would be 20 - 25 hrs. per week.

Qualifications:
  • Working toward or completion of CIP
  • Minimum of one year of office experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn the business and a desire for advancement

Personal Lines Broker
  • One plus year of experience 
  • Detailed oriented, able to multi task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working toward or completion of CIP

Commercial Lines Broker
  • One plus year of experience as a Commercial Lines Broker
  • Detailed oriented, able to multi task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working toward or completion of General Insurance Licensing
Small Business Solutions Consultant
The qualified candidate will play a key part in leading technical projects and strategic initiatives to help achieve the company vision of being "the preferred small business insurer in Canada".

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and study the Prairies SBS book to identify trends, areas of opportunity and/or areas for improvement
  • Handle underwriting inquiries and referrals and improve underwriting expertise of the UW team
  • Achieve appropriate levels of governance, risk and controls
  • Oversee and deliver technical training to SBS underwriting team, striving to achieve technical mastery
Qualifications:
  • Technical knowledge in Commercial Underwriting
  • Good negotiation skills with all level of the organization
  • Attention to detail
  • Minimum 5 years of Commercial Property/Casualty underwriting experience; SBS knowledge and experience would be an asset
  • CIP designation

The main role is to assist clients in resolving claims and provide appropriate instruction to our external representatives, while balancing the interest of the company. The successful candidate must be analytical and decisive and able to work independently while working within the parameters of assigned authority.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience handling and examining property damage claims
  • Minimum of 4 successfully completed CIP courses
  • Post secondary education preferred
