E005: Heavy Oil Production Engineer (Location Lloydminster)
  • In conjunction with the team members, develop the base production budget and submits for approval and conducts quarterly outlook; propose projects to alleviate proactive capacity bottlenecks and down hole operating cost budget; develop and present exploitation capital projects through  the CAP process and conduct look backs to ensure capital efficiency.
  • Minimizes well downtown and optimize fluid production to the plant gate, identify excess down hole and pipeline proactive capacity and identify bottlenecks; minimize down hole operating costs and looks for new ways to minimize down hole costs;.
  • Program and execute new well completions and ensure that they are executed in a timely manner and are done cost effectivley; Investigate, test and implement pertinent new down hole production equiptment and completion/workover technology.

  • Work closely with the Operations Group to manage Service Rig activity and efficiency at a property level

E002: Heavy Oil Production Engineer (Rotation)
The Production Engineer will provide production support and mentoring for production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to, production engineering support, mentoring national staff, production organization, cost reduction, workover evaluation, completion and remedial workover programming, well servicing economics, technology review and project implementation. This is a rotational position.

Responsibilities
  • Assist  Lead Production Engineer as required;
  • Optimize daily production for cold heavy oil production using PC pump technology;

E001: Heavy Oil Facilities Engineer, (2 Positions Calgary and Europe, Rotation and Relocation
The Facility Engineer or Technologist will provide technical engineering support and mentoring to the construction  and production operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to; supporting the construction supervisors, working with operations to optimize well site set up, emulsion pipeline network, treating facilities, water distribution and disposal facilities, R & M and corrosion management;

Responsibilities
  • Safe operation and monitoring of heavy oil sand producing wells, associated facilities and related equipment;
  • Routine inspection and adjustment of assigned facilities and wells;
  • Assisting in implementation of a predictive and preventive maintenance program and maintenance tracking;
  • Optimization of production by proposing innovative strategies and how best to improve well and facility productivity;

Qualifications
  • Must have 5-10 years varied oil and gas facilities experience including design, construction, repair and maintenance and operation of heavy facilities;
  • Must have B.Sc., in Petroleum or Mechanical  Engineering or related engineering disciplines;
  • Must have experience with conventional heavy oil facilities;
  • Experience with heavy oil water flood and or thermal EOR or SAGD facilities would be beneficial;
  • Experience with Natural gas facilities would be beneficial;
  • Experience with sour operations is an asset;
  • A solid understanding of E & P economic drivers is required;
  • International experience is an asset, but not required;

(3-6 month full-time fixed term position)
The successful candidate will have a background in data management specializing in subsurface geology and geophysics data types (wells, seismic, logs, and related data). A Technologist Certificate from SAIT or a similar institution, and at least 5 years relevant experience are required. Knowledge of structured database environments, file management, and G&G data types is essential. A knowledge of GeoGraphix software and experience loading data in GeoGraphix will be considered and asset. The position would be ideal for a Senior Technologist who seeks a fixed-term contract position. Hours worked per week and contract term are negotiable.

Strong and growing, oil-weighted Junior Oil & Gas producer requires a Production Technician to support the production department. The role will include estimating corporate production and inputting into the system; preparing regulatory submissions; day to day support of production and exploitation. The successful candidate requires a minimum of 5 days experience with strong computer and software skills. Excellent communication skills are required to work with the field personnel and management.   • Manager the safety direction and awareness of all staff and contractor for the company
